Grover Parido: Talent Profile

Grover David Parido, A classical music education, and years of performing popular forms, have given Grover a unique cellistic style. Performing the classic repertoire, or improvising with electronic effects, Grover feels the cello can be like a great character actor, it can play any number of roles.Through the years Grover has worked with outstanding musicians, dancers, actors, artists. All have left their mark on his thinking. Grover is also performing with fellow (Re)Collective member Doug Sauter in The Maple Trio, a groundbreaking acoustic ensemble. He has recently joined with singer-songwriter Cara Jean Wahlers in an intimate acoustic duo. He also producing the new album from Brown County songwriter Lou Stant. Grover maintains a busy teaching schedule and has appeared on numerous recordings.
